Behold, the WWF George Steele “Mine” doll. It recently sold on eBay for a hundred bucks, and I was SO TEMPTED TO BID. I hate being responsible.
In retrospect, I should’ve bid, because $100 for this is a total steal. It’s super rare and almost never turns up for sale.
(If you don’t know, George “The Animal” Steele played a good-natured simpleton with a green tongue and a taste for turnbuckle foam. At the peak of his “idiot good guy” run, he carried this crazy alien monkey doll around. The WWF sold it in their catalogs for a while.)
Gorgeous.
